These values have produced a positive, supportive work culture with friendly employees and the opportunity to advance from within. In fact, every month, METRO’s employee newsletter includes a section called METRO Milestones which includes a list of employees who have recently received promotions.

All of this has resulted in one of Houston’s most stable work environments. About 20% of METRO employees have been here more than 20 years and many of them have made friends for life with their co-workers.
